The 28th Annual Congress - Krakow / Poland
From the 24 till the 26 of September 2015, the 28th Annual Congress of the European Society and College of Veterinary Dermatology (ESVD-ECVD) will be held in ICE Krakow. It is the biggest dermatological event for veterinary surgeons in Europe. For a few days, Krakow will host the best-known veterinary dermatologists in the world.
Veterinary dermatology deals with the diagnostics and treatment of pet animals with skin diseases. It treats chronic immunological skin diseases and all kinds of allergies and atopic dermatitis. The skin is a powerful barrier and, at the same time, the first line of defence against the external environment. It is also home to a countless number of microorganisms (further called 'microbiota') including various groups of bacteria, fungi, viruses or even anthropods.
