The 8th World Congress of Veterinary Dermatology - Bordeaux
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to WCVD8, the 8th World Congress of Veterinary Dermatology to be held in Bordeaux, France, from 31 May to 4 June, 2016!
Each WCVD faces a challenge: to be better than the previous one. The WCVD7 held in Vancouver in 2012 was a great success, both scientifically and socially. The future WCVD8 will be also highly attractive for all the dermoids of the planet!
The Executive Organizing Committee of your next World Congress has already started to work and prepare an attractive and innovative programme, with outstanding social events.
Bordeaux is a beautiful and easily reachable city. It is both historical (eighteenth century) and modern. It has the largest urban area classified as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It is the capital of Aquitaine, the south-west region of France, with an excellent reputation for gastronomy; wine of course, but also tourism (the city is close to the ocean and right on a beautiful river as well!).
The Congress Centre is a modern and well adapted facility (perfect for us!) and many hotels are available close to it or in the historical centre. If you choose to stay in the latter, the Congress Centre is easily reachable by a high-tech tramway.
In short, this will be a wonderful WCVD in terms of both content and ambience!
Please save the dates and make plans now to attend this exceptional event.
