Biography
Dr. Ursula Oberkirchner is an Austrian native who graduated from the Veterinary School of Vienna, Austria. After completing a doctoral thesis at the Veterinary School of Vienna’s Dermatology Service in 2008, Dr. Oberkirchner then moved to the United States of America to start a three-year residency program in clinical and investigative veterinary dermatology at North Carolina State University. Dr. Oberkirchner became board certified with the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Dermatology in 2011. Since then she has worked as faculty at the University of Florida’s Dermatology Service, and as veterinary dermatologist in Massachusetts. After more than eight years of clinical experience as a veterinarian, Dr. Oberkirchner joined Ceva in January 2015 as part of the Companion Animal Veterinary Services team.
In 2018, Dr. Ursula went back to clinical practice and worked in Palm Beach Gardens Florida at a Specialty Hospital, before opening her own practice, called Advanced Veterinary Dermatology LLC, in South Florida in 2021.
