He has authored 2 books, several peer-reviewed original publications and many contributions in nationals and international scientific meetings. Currently is affiliated to the ESVD (European Society of Veterinary Dermatology), and DVGD (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Veterinärdermatologie). His current areas of research interest are precision medicine in veterinary dermatology, canine atopic dermatitis and the study of oxidative stress in cutaneous diseases. He can speak, write & read fluently Spanish, English and German and basic French. Plans are to work in a university setting because he likes to teach, have contact with students, work in a multidisciplinary (horizontal) manner and do research in his areas of interest. Expectations include to improve worldwide collaboration and networking between veterinary dermatologists.
