Biography

I graduated from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 1999 and worked in general practice for more than 10 years, deepening my knowledge and gaining experience from colleagues in foreign referral clinics in Switzerland, Sweden and Canada also in numerous congresses and workshops, mostly focusing on endocrinology, dermatology and reproduction.
I founded and managed one of the largest private clinics in Vilnius, Lithuania, of which I am still a co-owner.
In 2016 I was enrolled in a residency program in Veterinary Dermatology at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany, supervised by my wonderful mentors Professor Dr. Ralf Müller and Dr. Sonya Bettenay. In 2020 I successfully passed the board certification exams of the European and American Colleges of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD/ACVD) and became the first board certified dermatologist in Lithuania. Currently I work as senior dermatologist and clinical instructor at Ludwig Maximilian University teaching hospital, as a telemedicine consultant for private clinics and for the university clinic in Lithuania, am a guest lecturer at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. I am actively involved in ECVD activities and am a member of the ECVD Examination Committee.
I am an author and co-author of multiple papers published in international peer reviewed journals. I am a speaker of national and international continuing education courses and congresses in Veterinary Dermatology, lecturing in Lithuanian, English, German and Russian
