Biography

Dr. Marignac received her veterinary degree from Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort (ENVA), France, in 1991, and began her career as a general practitioner while beginning the process of specialization in Dermatology through ESVAS courses and a semester in Cornell University with Prs Danny Scott and William Miller. She then created a private Veterinary Dermatology Service in Paris area while being part time consultant in Alfort. In 2001, she was hired as a senior lecturer and researcher in ENVA to individualize the Dermatology activity. She became a diplomate in Dermatology in 2005, and received a PhD in microbiology in 2008. She has authored peer-reviewed publications (articles, abstracts and book chapters), authored a CD-ROM on Veterinary Dermatology and textbooks on veterinary otology and dermatologic therapeutics. She reviews manuscripts for journals such as Veterinary Dermatology. Beside education, she focuses on clinical research through Alfort's Institut de Recherche Clinique Animale. Since 2017, she teaches veterinary ethics and professional and animal legislation.
